Charly Martinez is the mind behind his DJ project Bionic Brain. He started his career as a DJ in 2008 in La Paz, Bolivia playing in local parties and well-known psytrance festivals. His utilizes agressive bass lines, explosive atmospheres, and a very selective track selection, influenced by the twilight hours. His DJ sets soon gained respect within the local psytrance community. In the same year, Charly moved to the USA looking for a better perception in music and experience. He has played at psytrance parties and open air gatherings all over the east coast, including Gaian Mind (MD), Orb Festival (NY), TOUCH Samadhi (NC), Smoke on the Water (NY), and Night Out of Time (FL). He is part of the legendary label Fractal Records (Switzerland) and Enterprise Records (Israel), and has just released a compilation album, VA –Twilight Cronicles.
